The 26th Best Jeanist Award ceremony was held on October 19.
This award has been annually held by Japan Jeans Association since 1984.
Every year, two people from the general public selection and two or three people from the committee selection are given the award.
The people who are awarded are singers, actors and celebrities, for example, the world famous movie director, Akira Kurosawa, won the award before he died.
Famous pop-stars, Ayumi Hapmasaki and Takuya Kimura are already won the Jeans of Fame.
This year’s winners are Japanese singer Kumi Koda, and Miyuki Hatoyama, who is the wife of Japanese Prime Minister, Yukio Hatoyama.
