I found an interesting video of a 13 year-old girl in school uniform performing drum incredibly.

Her name is Senri, and she covers the opening theme song of “K-On!”, a Japanese anime series originally a four-panel comic strip manga written by Kakifly.

Drum Performance “GO! GO! MANIAC” (K-On!)

This is the actual opening theme.

The drummer Senri started drum when she was five years old, and in 2007, she won the second grand prix in 10th Drum Contest held by Rhythm and Drum Magazine.

Since she found the drummer girl in K-On! uses the same model YAMAHA Hipgig, she started playing the song of K-On! and posted the video on internet, which made her popular among not only the anime fans but also musicians because she reproduces the song perfectly, yet with her personality.

On the description she says “I couldn’t get the feel in my performance…” but her beat is powerful and it does have the feel of the song.
