An interesting tour is going to be held, where the tourists can experience Buddhist monk’s life for three days in Fukuroi, [W:Shizuoka Prefecture].

The three-day monks can tour five temples in the area and experience zazen (meditation), shakei (transcribing a sutra), takigyo (waterfall ascetic), monk’s diet (vegetarian) and so on.

After the tour, the participants are given certificates.

The tour will be held twice in February and the price starts from 21,000 yen (about US$235).
