Japanese Cool Designed OFUDA (GOFU)!!!


Ofuda also known as gofu, is a Japanese talisman or amulet, which is a strip of paper or wood that is believed to have power to protect from trouble or to bring blessing.

It’s issued by a shrine or a temple, and used in home altars called kamidana and at home entryways to provide blessing and ward away evil.

Usually, the name of shrine or temple, a god’s name, or important words are written on an ofuda.

Some ofuda have illustrations on them, and the designs are very interesting as art.

Following is the titles of each ofuda and the issued shrine or temple.
