In Japan bicycles are popularly used, and you often see parking space in towns. The recent bicycle boom rushes parking areas into updating. While numbers of large underground parking keep appearing, the one attracts most considerable attention is multi-story bicycle parking garage, which is totally automatic and high speed in loading/unloading.
The parking garage in the video can store 6480 bicycles! When you set your bicycle in the loading booth, the machine catches the front wheel and draws it into the storage. It only takes 15 seconds.
Because the registered bicycles attached IC tags, you don’t have to go any trouble. It is so simple. You don’t even have to lock the bicycle. When you unload it, you just need to slide your card.
