
At the very last stage of dedicated sumo performance on the 9th following the Okina Dance,
baby boys under 1 year old (after babies ceremony in the shrine) are held by sumo wrestlers,
and receive mochi and rum bud.

Kid's sumo tournament is held annually on September 15 at Mihashira Shrine in Kashiwate-cho, Kashihara city.Children between 1 year-old and late elementary grades took 3 bouts each.
