An electric town and an anime-manga-game center in Tokyo, Akihabara, where there are various types of cosplay restaurants including maids, younger sisters, and cat eared girls.

A new sushi restaurant opened in Akihabara is not one of them, but not a regular sushi restaurant. It is something that Akihabara people would appreciate.

Under the slogan of “Fresh and Kawaii (cute),” “Nadeshico Sushi” opened in the center of Akihabara on October 1.

What makes this restaurant special is that 18 to 25 year-old young women make sushi there. But don’t worry, an experienced male sushi chef prepare the fish in the back kitchen!

Using fresh fish bought-in at [W:Tsukiji] fish market every morning, the restaurant serves good quality nigiri sushi, and also animal shaped deco sushi!

Omakase (Chef’s choice) course (3,000 yen (US$37)) comes with 10-piece nigiri sushi, deco sushi, Japanese style egg, chawanmushi (a savory steamed egg custard with assorted ingredients), vegetable soup, and fruits.
