
Miki happened to meet women in costumes of kimono in Asuka Period (592-710) at the Itabukinomiya ruins.
The building behind them is Tachibana Temple where it is said that Prince Shotoku (574-622) was born.

Miki took this picture at the Cloister of Asukanohikari Festival. The spider lilies in the paddies in Asuka are very beautiful. It was the season for spider lilies to bloom.
