In Japan, original flavored Pepsi have been released by Suntory for a limited time only. Some are good but some are weird… Let’s look at examples!
Pepsi Cucumber (2007)
Many people who tried said it smells cucumber and tastes like ramune soda.
Pepsi White (2008)
Yogurt flavored Pepsi.
PEPSI BLUE HAWAII 2008
Since it is pineapple and lemon flavored, it is not unusual.
Pepsi Shiso (2009)
Shiso is a kind of perilla herb. It is a member of mint family and called Japanese basil but doesn’t taste like mint or basil.
Pepsi Azuki (2009)
Azuki is small red bean used for Japanese sweets.
Pepsi Baobab (2010)
It is not baobab tree flavor though. It tastes like ginger and citrus.
The last one is not time limited. It is original flavor but has extra caffeine and carbonation.
Pepsi STRONG SHOT
It says on the can “Strong Carbonation! Wait 15 seconds before opening can.” 😯
It is good when you are tired and need refreshment and energy.
This is JAPAN Style!
