Boiled corn is simple but delicious! What if there is a way to make it even more delicious? Do you want to know?
Well, this Japanese blogger found the way to bring out the best potential of a corn. It is based on farmers’ experience and scientific experiments and research by Japanese TV show “Tameshite Gatten (Experience and Understand),” which is a life science program that answers our daily life questions.
1: Remove husk and silk.
2: Throw the corn in a large pot and cover with cold water.
3: Bring it boil and cook 3 minutes.
4: Turn off the stove. Add some salt till the water gets salty and leave the corn in it for 4 minutes.
5: Drain and immediately wrap the corn with plastic wrap. (Be careful it’s really HOT!)
With this way, the corn doesn’t get wrinkly but gets juicy.
