Alleys can be interesting. Unlike main streets, there are footprints of life that stir our imagination or even tickle our adventurous spirits.
Whichever towns you go in Japan, you always find alleys between old wooden houses, behind shopping arcades, or contemporary buildings, and what you can commonly find is a group of snack bars and small eateries with neon signs and lanterns, a place where local people and workers hang out.
