Did it pop out from a children’s book? Is this a fairy-tale land? The answer is no. It is a waste treatment plant, where it has an incineration and a size reduction facility, and the produced energy is used to generate electric power.
The imaginative building was designed by an Austrian architect, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, who is also known as a contemporary artist.
As you can see, it consists of a lot of organic (irregular) lines.
The tower is like a tree and tree houses.
There are greens in some places.
Asymmetry columns.
The plant gives a tour to the visitor who made an appointment in advance. Explaining the waste treatment process with cartoon characters, it is perfect for children’s field trip.
